Nightshade: 20th Century Ghost Stories

Nightshade: 20th Century Ghost Stories - Alison Lurie, Joyce Carol Oates, John Cheever, Isak Dinesen, Joan Aiken, Muriel Spark, L.P. Hartley, Francis Marion Crawford, William Trevor, Max Beerbohm, Jean Rhys, Elizabeth Bowen, Ilse Aichinger, Elizabeth Spencer, Robert Phillips, William Goyen, Ellen Glasgow, Christ If like me you read a lot of spooky story collections, you will come across the same stories every so often. But it's okay. If you're like me and don't have the best memory for the plot points of what you've read years before, it's almost like reading it for the first time with a slight sense of deja vu. Nightshade is a solid collection of "ghost" stories from "classic" writers of the 20th century, so...
