I bought this thinking it was another recent horror comic collection, but kept it because it looked interesting. There are many hooks in these stories, but I think it would be more memorable if less people had been included and the volume developed longer, stronger stories. it's hard to be horrifying in 3-7 pages, especially in the graphic format. so a lot of the time the stories would consist of a cool conceit with nothing to tether it to the reader. maybe the writers/artists will develop more of these ideas later, I hope.
