Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children - Ransom Riggs The story gave me the creeps and made me want to go to Wales, so much so that I was willing to ignore the wiggling feeling in the back of my head that was insisting that there were probably plot holes in regards to how the whole worldwide network of time loops worked/how peculiar society functioned. The romance was a little unnecessary, not to mention a little gross. But: mist! creeps! homonculi! shipwrecks! abandoned houses that are not exactly abandoned!

Re-read in April, 2015. Held up well for me! Scary parts were scary, tense parts were tense, sill want to go to Wales, still admire the way the "hero" steps out of his life
