My teen book club picked this for this month's selection! Thanks, guys. I'd been wanting to read it but needed the excuse.

It's definitely a discussable book - I have bookmarks all through it marking places that illuminate the themes, which are easy to pick out but blend into the story well. And I can scarily, totally see this being our world in the future so that's another great thing to discuss. It's also what makes me stop short of calling this book "enjoyable" because it makes me so anxious. I don't count that against it, though - I'm glad these kinds of books exist.
